  A year on from the title of “Best New Design Brand” and we have been awarded British Design of the Year for the Heavy Desk Light by Benjamin Hubert at the British Design Awards on the 10th November.
The Heavy Desk Light, recently launched during London Design Week, is a progression from the suspension series shown in 2008 and shows the culmination of innovative manufacture, visual simplicity and the desire to challenge perception of materials.
The Heavy Desk Light encapsulates the material focussed approach of Benjamin Hubert studio and is designed not only to push the potential of an industrial material like concrete but also to challenge perceptions of value.
